From 1994 to 2016, Michele Petno was a successful artist, teacher, importer of mosaic supplies, and entrepreneur. She founded Wits End Mosaic, Smalti.com, MuranoMillefiori.com, and KismetMosaic.com. She was also a co-founder of the “Mosaics in Mexico” school in Cuernavaca, Mexico.
In 2016, Michele retired her mosaic supply store and classroom in Orlando to care for her mother until her mother passed away one year later. Two years after that, she moved to the “Space Coast,” also known as Titusville and Cape Canaveral, and joined the North Brevard Art League, where she planned to teach mosaic. Sadly, Covid hit and classes had to be put off.
In Michele’s words
“I continued making mosaics for the next two years but did not have an outlet to sell them. Eventually, I decided to return to Central Florida and create this website to showcase some of my past and new works. I am so happy to be back in the Sanford/Lake Monroe area and creating new art!
In addition to mosaics, I will be bringing back Memory Ware, Pique Assiette (broken dish mosaic) and all sorts of mosaic. New art will include metal assemblages, Collage art, and paintings. I will also accept custom portraits, faces, painted or created in mosaic. Examples will be posted, and they might surprise you!”

Welcome to Trilogy Arts!

I retired my mosaic supply shop and classroom in Orlando 10 years ago to care for my mom until she passed away one year later. Two years later I moved to the “Space Coast”, aka Titusville/Cape Canaveral, and joined the North Brevard Art League to teach mosaic. But then Covid hit! For the next 2 years I continued to make mosaics but did not have an outlet to sell them. So, I decided to return to Central Florida and create this website to show past works and new ones. I am so excited and happy to be back in the Orlando/Sanford area!!
I will be creating new art. In addition to mosaic art I will be making “Memory Ware”, metal assemblages, Collage Art and paintings. I will also accept custom portraits, faces or pets, painted or in mosaic. I will be posting examples. They might surprise you!
